	*11.01.09 - Luke Elliot & Hezekiah Jones* What the hell has been going on with Yer Bird? Well, we've relocated, finally!, to Philadelphia and are ina bit of a state of flux. We're still trying to figure out the fate of The Aviary experiment, and really what direction to move towards as the record industry transforms itself into something much more dynamic. While all that is going, I'm excited to present 2 new records to the catalog - Bread of Teeth, the amazing new ep by Hezekiah Jones, and In Our Embrace, the debut full-length by the astounding songwriter Luke Elliot. 	*6.28.09 - The Gunshy, Blackbird Harmony, and The Aviary* Just so everyone knows, all the big Yer Bird stuff going on these days has been happening over at The Aviary - that's the link in the top right there - basically, you pay $25 for a year of access and get to download all the albums, live shows, demos, etc that are hosted there with new, excellent music up as frequently as I can get it there. High quality, no DRM. Go check it out. It's awesome. The fantastic Blackbird Harmony album, Hardwood Exits, is out now and features wonderful accompaniment by Bosque Brown and 1000 Springs, and, in the coming weeks, a new album by The Gunshy which collects all his previous EPs as well as a lengthy new EP of truly amazing songs.

	*10.4.07 - Damien Jurado covers J. Tillman!!* One of my all-time favorite artists, the always-superb Damien Jurado, has a gorgeous cover of a song from J. Tillman's Cancer and Delirium - the excellent When I Light Your Darkened Door - get it here while it lasts (I've also heard it's floating around on dimeadozen).
	*8.18.07 - Folk Music comp CD release show* The fine fellows at Monkeyclaus (who did the mastering on the compilation - thanks Abel!) recorded the second of 2 shows to mark the release of the Folk Music for the End of the World compilation. They only managed to get one track from Hezekiah Jones - the excellent Dark Hollow which will be on their upcoming EP! - and you can check that out here and listen to awesome performances by comp alumni Sarah White and Chris Bathgate (both playing some unreleased material) and a great set by Philadelphia's The Spinning Leaves.

J. Tillman - Cancer and Delirium
Long one of my favorite songwriters, Yer Bird is proud to release J. Tillman's most engaging album yet. Cancer and Delirium strikes the perfect balance between his intimate Keep recordings and 2006's full-band melodies on Minor Works. It bottles up the hope and hesitance of a damp and foggy early morning before you can tell if the sun has the strength to penetrate through. Simply stunning.
