Hailing from the Gloucestershire UK area, Sam Pickering Pick comes to Yer Bird Records via his new home in Northern California.  He brings his signature soft acoustic folk with him and we are more than happy to accept and partner in on this incredible path of great folk inspired music.  'Pickering Pick' has been in the works since the late 90's and fans know of this prolific songwriter's albums via the grassroots site Rate Your Music.  A true artist wanting to get his music out there in any way possible and heard for the beauty that it is.

We here at Yer Bird Records hope to continue on with the journey of Pickering Pick with the release of 'Tiger Balm'.  These 10 tracks once again show us Sam's natural flourish of bringing heartwrenching ballads alongside classically styled finger picking folk.  Is this a new chapter to put in the book of 'Pickering Pick'?  We sure hope it is.  Join us in welcoming Sam and Tiger Balm to Yer Bird Records!
